The Defender P16 is ACEBEAM's first dual-tail-switch tactical flashlight, powered by an included 18650 USB-C Li-ion battery, it can throw an incredible distance of 529 yards (484m) in a compact size. P16 can be handheld or mounted on a firearm. The tail switch allows you to quickly cycle through 4 brightness levels and Strobe, P16 is impact-resistant and IP68 rated —ready to meet the demands of the military and law enforcement, emergencies, and more.

What kind of LED is used in P16? Does ACEBEAM offer LED replacement service?  
A: It utilizes one Luminus SFT40 HI LED with 50,000-hour lifespan.

ACEBEAM does not offer LED replacement services currently, and please do not replace the LEDs privately, as doing so might affect product performance and cause damage to the product. 

What kind of battery can be used to P16? 
A: One ACEBEAM 18650 USB-C rechargeable Li-ion battery (included).

How to get started with P16? 

How to replace the battery? 

May I have a brief introduction of P16?  
A: It has a tail-dual-switch design that enables easy operation with one-click activation of high brightness 1800 lumens, throwing up to 484 meters.

Does P16 have low-voltage warning?
A: Yes. When the battery power is less than 20%, the light will step down modes (Turbo→ High→ Med → Low) automatically. When step down to Low mode and the battery voltage is below 2.7V, it will turn OFF directly.

How to cycle through 3 modes (Tactical, Special and Daily mode)?

- Step 1: When the light is OFF, press and hold the function switch for 3s, meanwhile, click the tactical switch;
- Step 2: LED light will enter ‘breathing light’ status, and release the function switch;
- Step 3: Click the function switch to switch the mode;
               • Strobe means to enter Tactical mode
               • SOS for Daily mode
- Step 4: Click the Tactical switch, setting successful.

    

What should I do if it needs repair?
A: Please refer below:
 • 15-day replacement: ACEBEAM will replace any quality defective lights within 15 days of purchase.
 • 5-year free repair: ACEBEAM will repair an LED light free of charge within 5 years (LEP model, battery, battery pack, charger, remote switch, and other accessories: 1 year) of purchase if problems develop with normal use.
 • Limited lifetime warranty, if repair is required after 5 years from the date of purchase, ACEBEAM will charge for parts.
