- Pull Extension: Pull the telescopic tubes outward using the baton tip until they lock into position.
- Flick Extension: A controlled flick can extend the tubes, allowing them to lock into the open position.
- BHT Holder Compatibility: When carried in a compatible BHT holder, the baton can automatically extend as it is drawn from the holder. Holder inclusion is not specified.
Easy and Controlled Closing
The Easy Lock system makes closing straightforward. Press the button at the end of the handle to release the lock, then push the baton tip inward to retract the tubes into the handle.
Important: This baton must be closed using its release button. Do not strike it against a hard surface to retract it, as this can damage the locking mechanism.
508 mm when you need it. 224 mm when you don’t.
Three hardened steel tubes slide out of the handle. Closed, it sits on your belt in the BHT-55 holder.
Open: 508 mm. Press the button at the end of the handle and push the tip in to close it.
Closes with one button
Press the button, push the tip in. No hard surface needed, however hard the baton was opened.
Push-button closing
The lock is released when you press the button at the end of the handle and push the baton tip inward. The tubes then slide back into the handle easily.
Hardened steel tubes
Hardened tubes with a black nickel-zinc finish that resists scratching.
Tested hard
Dropped from 2 m onto concrete (the German standard only requires wood) and still closed as smoothly as before. Opened and closed 6 000 times with the mechanism still working. Operated normally after being submerged in mud.
German standard
Meets the requirements of the German standard for telescopic batons. Certified by the testing laboratory at MPA Hannover, Germany.
Accessories
The button in the ending means no accessories can be added to the handle. Only the detection mirrors BMO-02 and BMO-03 fit the baton.
Open, lock, close
Open
Three ways. Draw it from the BHT holder and the tubes extend automatically. Or pull the tip until the tubes snap into one another. Or flick it slightly downward, horizontally or slightly upward with enough speed.
Lock
The locking mechanism holds the tubes firmly in the expanded position.
Close
Press the button at the end of the handle, push the tip inward, then push the tubes back into the handle.
Close it only with the button. Hitting the baton on a hard surface to close it can damage the mechanism.
